Graduates

We are looking for bright and personable graduates who are looking to excel, have fun and make a real difference for our clients. The role includes; liaising with the client to collect and prepare the data from a range of sources, using R and Excel to build market leading models, then putting together presentations to deliver the key findings and insight back to the client.

Progression in the company is entirely on merit – everyone is encouraged to progress as quickly as they want. We offer training in the application of econometrics to marketing and sales evaluation, as well as providing further development on presentation skills, Excel, visual basic, R and the commercial application of our work.

As a young company, there’s a big opportunity to get involved in the wider running of the business such as revenue growth management, new business, research & development, improving internal processes and tool development.

 The role will require the following attributes:

  • Mathematics, Statistics or Economics degree with 2.1 or higher
  • Ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and simple manner
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, R or Python is advantageous, but not essential
  • Experience of modelling with statistical packages
  • A team player with entrepreneurial drive
  • Enjoy presenting and sharing ideas with others
  • A postgraduate degree is advantageous, but not essential

 Director of MMM

Involvement in developing Brightblue as the leading provider of predictive modelling through the following:

  • Lead several clients over a range of industries
  • Sell in of projects to clients, including pitches, with a seven figure per annum target
  • Produce outstanding marketing evaluation projects to our clients 
  • Exceptional data analytics
  • Data visualisation
  • Presentation delivery to the client
  • Personally manage the development of a number of consultants and analysts, both in the USA and colleagues in other markets (especially our London Hub).
  • Lead a team of consultants and analysts to produce outstanding marketing evaluation projects
  • Assist in developing company strategy
  • Helicopter view in developing tools and ideas to grow the business in to new areas using the latest techniques
  • Involvement across the business including project management, revenue growth management, new business, research & development, improving internal processes and tool development

The role reports to the Founder of Brightblue.

Requirements

The role will require the following attributes:

  • Proven first class deliverer of high value client projects
  • Proven track record of high value project sales to clients across a range of industry sectors
  • 10+ years commercial experience of market mix modelling and or marketing analytics
  • Ability to explain complex modelling in a very clear and simple manner with proven client presentation skills
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Econometrics/Economics/ Mathematics (with Econometrics) degree
  • Entrepreneurial attitude

The role description
Involvement in developing Brightblue as the leading provider of predictive modelling through the following:

  • Feed in to company strategy
  • Help develop tools and ideas to grow the business in to new areas using the latest techniques
  • Involvement across the business including project management, revenue growth management, new business, research & development, improving internal processes and tool development
Requirements
  • 2-4 years commercial experience of market mix modelling (Econometrics) and or marketing analytics
  • Ability to explain complex modelling in a clear and simple manner with proven client presentation skills
  • Good people management skills
  • Knowledge of R or Python or similar packages preferred
  • Econometrics/Economics/ Mathematics (with Econometrics) degree with 2.1 or higher
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Experience of selling projects to clients a positive
